Last Saturday (3 Sep 2005) Sarah, Alice, Abby (Philpott’s 5 year old daughter) and I made the short 15 minute drive up to construction site of the Sacramento Temple. The picture on the left is from that trip. Work seems to be progressing nicely, with the frame of the building providing a good idea of how big it will be. The Sacramento Temple Webcam is still up and taking pictures if you want to see the progress in greater detail.
I haven’t heard anything about an official opening date yet, I’m guessing it will be during summer 2006.
