The tagline for Camlistore is “Camlistore is your personal storage system for life”, but even after watching the demo video I’m still not entirely sure how to categorize it.
Perhaps the best way to describe it is a generalized storage system for all of your stuff, that can be exposed and queried in many different ways.
The overview page outlines a number of the very ambitious features. Given Brad Fitzpatrick‘s track record I wouldn’t bet against it.
