I recently stopped by a Walmart to pick up a few things and noticed there is now a vinyl records section.
That was not something I expected to see in a physical store like Walmart. I’d heard that vinyl records were making a come back in some circles, but I was thinking music stores and online. If the trend is big enough that Walmart wants a piece of the action, there must be more people buying them than I thought.
And if you don’t have a turntable anymore, there are plenty to choose from on the shelves right below the records.
Personally, while it might bring back fun memories to hear those songs on vinyl, my interest in owning physical media has already passed.

I still have a crate of vinyl records and a turntable. The problem is my needle always gets broken by the grandhcildren! 🙂
Lost and broken needles are definitely a problem I don’t miss.
