Alex King, a lawyer and the GPL: Interesting read about Alex’s discussion with a lawyer about the GPL which came about because of a request from a Mambo user.
OSXvnc: VNC server for Mac OS X. I haven’t had a need for one so far (being able to ssh into my Mac has meet my needs so far), but one day it might be handy.
Chicken of the VNC: VNC client for Mac OS X. If you don’t (or can’t) use the web based java interface to connect to a VNC server then this is handy to have.
DragonFly BSD: The spinoff of FreeBSD 4.x is getting ready to release version 1.0, with some very interesting features.
Xen: Xen creates virtual machines that can each run their own OS. Hmmm, bringing some of the big IBM system concepts to personal computers. I wonder if they port this to the G4?
Creating Mac users from the shell: This is especially handy if you want to create a system user for certain processes instead of a user that would login.
Installing PostgreSQL on Mac OS X: Install instructions from Apple on installing PostgreSQL. I don’t like the idea of creating a normal user to run PostgreSQL, I used niutil to create a user from the shell (see above) and assigned it the uid and gid of 100.
Natural Docs: I use this for documenting my PHP projects.
PHP Benchmark Tests: Some interesting benchmarks comparing PHP’s different looping approaches, references and string quoting. I’ll have to try some variations of these tests.

The request didn’t come from Mambo, it came from someone who wants to use Tasks Pro and Mambo.
Thanks, I’ve changed the comment to indicate it came from a Mambo user and not from Mambo.
