The new announcement over at Yahoo is for video search. This definitely qualifies as one of the obvious and useful (although difficult to implement I’m sure) features. It’s nice to see Yahoo beat Google to the punch on something like this, it shows that they still serious about being in the search game.
As a side note Yahoo has a site for new technologies they are working on, called Yahoo Next.
