Nice to see that someone has gone through the effort of of putting together a site that explains why GIF if pronounced “jif”. I don’t recall how I learned to call it “jif” (instead of “gif”), but I have for as long as I can remember using the term. Now that you know the truth, go, and offend my ears no more 🙂
