Oh, the irony 😉
“Rails for PHP Developers” is about learning, not switching. PHP and Rails are both just tools you can use to solve problems. We think WordPress is great. For our blog, it’s the best tool for the job and we’re certainly happy to use it.

I agree, if you need a blog, easy enough to just use WordPress. I was surprised a bit though, the general feeling that I always had from the Rails community was that PHP wasn’t fit to be used for anything. I commend you for not propagating that attitude.
