About every five months I get a strong desire to write a clone of Trac. I like the features, but the setup, admin, customization and management aspects are a pain. Something like mtrack looks interesting enough that I may give it a try.

Have you looked at Redmine? http://www.redmine.org/
I had looked at it previously, but it was quite awhile ago. I may take a closer look at it again.
