Utah Democrat, Jim Matheson, Votes to Continue NSA Spying

Since I managed to completely screw up my initial post on the NSA spying vote, I wanted to make sure I got the record right.

The three Republican representatives from Utah voted to end the NSA spying program. The one Utah Democrat representative, Jim Matheson, voted to continue NSA spying on U.S. citizens.

So is Mr. Matheson ready to repeal the fourth amendment? Lets skip the peripheral issues and get right to the center of it. Am I protected from search and seizure of my papers and effects or not?

This just makes me mad. The fourth amendment says: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

What part of “shall not be violated” is in question?
