Now that Ingress is available on the iPhone I’m giving it a try. I saw lots of green in my neighborhood, so I went blue.
The “Ingress Tips for iOS-folk” from Tim Bray were helpful. The issue of the Ingress app eating your battery for lunch is no joke.
I found that getting up to speed was simple enough. The training missions appear to provide enough experience to get the basics down.
