iOS 7.1 added a new minimal-ui option to the viewport setting of Safari:
Put simply, the minimal-ui property allows you to display your responsive web page without the browser chrome taking up valuable screen real-estate.
This is a nice option, but as with all nifty features it will be abused in horrible ways by some and brilliant ways by others.
